Defiance why cant i mod

They seem pretty prompt on replying. Edit: EGO level seems to be when you can start modding. Google came up with a huge list of Salvage related topics, but this seems to be the best one that might help. I followed your advice and asked on the Trion forums and got an answer from a player. Apparently you cannot Retrieve Mods until ego level and at the final restrictions come off whatever those may be. No where was I able to find that information through extensive googling, guides, faqs, wikis etc..

They came close to scaring me off before they even got my money. If they expect to to turn this around, they are going to have fix that sort of thing, like providing proper mechanics documentation.

Yes it exists but the only way to get it is during the thanks giving event or from the cornicopia box in the bit store and that is a lottery box. Or you can get on the defiance forums and trade for one using another equally rare item or a ton of script. There are 4 of them. Do it until you have all 4 mod slots. It costs the green resource to add mod slots. After weapon has the mod slots, add the mods you have bought, be sure not to press B and cancel it. You must add each mod and then press A on the top option.

In this case it is the menu just right of the equip of the equipment tab. The third tab is for modding weapons.
